Before your appointment
- AuraLuxe requires a patch test for current Italwax waxing at least 24 hours before treatment, unless a stricter exact product/manufacturer or insurer rule applies. Previous waxing does not automatically waive testing, and we do not use a universal 3-, 6- or 12-month wax-test expiry.
- Leave two to three weeks of growth.
- Shower on the day; no oils or moisturiser on the area.
- Avoid caffeine beforehand if you are sensitive to discomfort.
Aftercare
- No swimming, saunas, sunbeds, hot baths or exercise for 24 to 48 hours.
- Cotton underwear and loose clothing for the first day.
- Exfoliate lightly from 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs.
Who it suits
Anyone wanting a comfortable, discreet intimate wax in a private room.
Not suitable if
Pregnancy without GP approval, Roaccutane within six months, active infection, or during menstruation without discussing it first.
