What we currently patch test
One client-facing patch-test visit and reaction form can cover several products when you are having a combined treatment. AuraLuxe still records each underlying product component separately, so the professional record remains precise without making you complete duplicate forms.
Waxing

Timing is product-specific
AuraLuxe waxing follows a minimum 24-hour patch-test interval under the current controlled Italwax protocol. Brow and lash systems follow the current manufacturer instructions together with any applicable insurer requirement. If a stricter exact rule applies, the stricter rule governs.
We do not apply a blanket three-month or six-month expiry. Repeat testing is based on the controlled product protocol and any relevant retest trigger rather than an invented universal expiry period.
How the visit works

Tell us which treatment or combined treatments you are planning.

The staff member carrying out the patch test applies the relevant product components and records the application truthfully.

AuraLuxe records the exact timing requirement that governs your treatment. For combined treatments, the strictest applicable rule is used.

You complete one client reaction/declaration record. A required patch test that has not been completed does not clear the treatment.

AuraLuxe staff review the result before treatment. Alexis may provide the final professional review or authorisation, but the record still identifies who actually administered the patch test.
Before your patch test
- Book the patch test early enough to meet the exact rule for your treatment.
- Come with the test area clean and free of moisturiser, fake tan or make-up where possible.
- Tell us about any previous reaction to waxing, tinting, hybrid brow, lash-lift or lamination products.
After your patch test
- Follow the instructions given for the exact products tested.
- Report itching, redness, swelling or any other reaction promptly.
- Completing the client reaction record does not by itself authorise treatment; the professional review still applies.
