Gift Card Terms
These terms apply to AuraLuxe digital gift cards purchased directly from AuraLuxe Professional. They are designed to sit alongside, not replace, your statutory rights under Irish consumer law.
1. Issuer and value
AuraLuxe gift cards are issued by AuraLuxe Professional Beauty Studio & Academy, Unit 1, The Mall, Riverside Way, Midleton, Co. Cork, Ireland. Gift cards are monetary-value vouchers in euro. The amount successfully paid becomes the original voucher value once payment is verified.
2. Activation and delivery
A checkout, payment link or pending order is not an active gift card. The voucher activates only after AuraLuxe receives verified successful payment evidence from Stripe. The digital card is then sent to the recipient email supplied by the purchaser. A delivery problem does not erase a successfully paid voucher; AuraLuxe can reconcile and reissue it from the secure ledger.
3. Validity
AuraLuxe gift cards are valid for five years from the successful purchase/activation date. The purchase date and exact expiry date are supplied in the digital gift-card email. This does not reduce any longer right that may apply under mandatory law.
4. Where each card can be used
Studio Gift Card: eligible AuraLuxe Studio treatments/services. Training Gift Card: eligible AuraLuxe Academy training/course payments. AuraLuxe Gift Card: eligible Studio or Academy purchases. A restricted card cannot be silently transferred to the other business lane.
5. Partial use and combining cards
You do not have to spend the full value in one transaction. Remaining eligible value stays recorded against the gift card until further use or expiry. More than one eligible AuraLuxe gift card may be used in the same transaction. Where Irish law requires a remaining-balance reimbursement, AuraLuxe will comply with that requirement.
6. Booking and enrolment remain separate
A gift card is value, not an appointment or course reservation. Normal availability, deposits, cancellation rules, patch tests, contraindication checks, treatment preparation, course prerequisites, Initial Assessment, enrolment, learner agreements, payment deadlines and other controlled requirements continue to apply.
7. Prices and balances
Gift cards hold monetary value rather than fixing the future price of a particular treatment or course unless AuraLuxe expressly states otherwise in writing. If the chosen purchase costs more than the available gift-card balance, the remaining amount must be paid through an accepted payment method.
8. Gift-card codes
The recipient name is part of the presentation of the digital gift. The unique gift-card code is the redemption credential, so it should be kept secure. If a code is lost, compromised or delivered to the wrong address, contact AuraLuxe. Where purchase ownership can be verified, AuraLuxe may reissue the card and invalidate the earlier code.
9. Refunds, cash and other gift cards
Gift cards cannot normally be exchanged for cash or used to buy another AuraLuxe gift card, except where Irish law requires otherwise. Your statutory cancellation, refund and consumer rights are not excluded. Any refund or reversal must be reconciled against the actual payment and any value already redeemed before the voucher balance is changed.
10. Fraud, chargebacks and corrections
AuraLuxe may place a voucher on hold or void it where the underlying payment is reversed, refunded, charged back or reasonably identified as fraudulent, subject to the verified payment evidence and applicable law. Administrative corrections and manual redemptions are recorded in the AuraLuxe gift-card audit ledger.
