How you learn

The planned format is three five-hour live online sessions and two seven-hour studio days in Midleton, including practical assessment within those days. This is 29 scheduled clock hours, alongside online theory and an agreed learner support plan.

The qualification has 48 guided learning hours and 120 hours of total qualification time. The scheduled sessions alone are not the full guided-learning requirement. Before enrolment, we will confirm your complete guided-learning, support and assessment plan in writing. Independent study is not automatically counted as guided learning.

How you are assessed

You build a portfolio through written assignments, session planning, assessed microteaching and reflection. Microteaching involves at least one hour in total, with at least 15 minutes personally delivered and assessed; the remaining time may be further delivery or peer observation. Your assessor confirms the evidence required for your individual plan.

Certification follows successful assessment and the required quality assurance. Watching lessons or completing online activities alone does not prove assessed competence.

What your fee includes

€1,750 per learner

• Standard tuition and online theory in your agreed learning plan
• Scheduled assessments, assignment marking and feedback
• Awarding-body registration and quality assurance within the agreed course scope

Your written plan confirms payment arrangements, cancellation terms and any further assessment conditions before you commit. Existing learners keep their agreed fees and terms.

The group runs with at least two learners and no more than four. The price per learner stays the same at every group size. If an intake cannot run, we will agree the transfer or refund arrangements in writing; one group booking will not automatically become a private booking with a higher fee.
