The right system for the area

Your treatment begins with consultation and skin assessment. Depending on the treatment area, hair and skin, AuraLuxe may use stripless film waxing for suitable delicate or precision areas, or professional warm and roller waxing for suitable larger areas.

The skin is professionally prepared before waxing, with treatment-appropriate preparation and aftercare selected throughout the service. The focus is on professional judgement, client comfort and a carefully finished result.

Patch-test requirements

Where a waxing patch test is required, it must normally be completed at least 24 hours before treatment. A stricter interval applies where required for the exact product or by current insurance conditions. AuraLuxe will confirm the requirement for your booking.

Combined waxing treatments using the same approved product system should not create duplicate client-facing requirements. The underlying products tested are still recorded correctly.

A patch test does not guarantee that a future reaction cannot occur. Suitability is checked at every appointment.

Before your appointment

Tell AuraLuxe about allergies, sensitivities or previous reactions.
Tell us about medication, active skincare, recent peels, laser, IPL or anything else that may affect the treatment area.
Do not attend with broken, irritated, sunburned or inflamed skin in the area to be treated.
Avoid aggressive exfoliation or irritating active skincare on the treatment area before your appointment.

After your treatment

Keep the area clean and avoid touching it unnecessarily.
Avoid heat, hot baths, saunas, swimming and strenuous exercise for the advised period.
Avoid perfumed products, tanning products and irritating skincare on the area.
Avoid sun exposure and use suitable sun protection where appropriate.
Avoid tight clothing or friction over freshly waxed areas.

Professional education

Waxing knowledge at AuraLuxe Academy

AuraLuxe waxing education teaches learners to assess the treatment area and select an appropriate professional system according to the client’s skin, hair and service requirements. Product selection, consultation, safe working practices, treatment planning and aftercare are developed within the appropriate course.

Exact temperatures, application techniques and other controlled practical procedures are taught in the supervised learning environment, not as generic public instructions.
