VTCT / ITEC qualifications
Every VTCT/ITEC applicant starts with an AuraLuxe initial assessment. We review your existing qualifications, experience, goal, prior learning and assessment requirements before we confirm the correct regulated route.
If you already hold relevant qualifications or have completed eligible AuraLuxe learning, we review that evidence for recognition of prior learning (RPL). You do not automatically repeat learning that can properly be mapped to the qualification.
Initial assessment for: VTCT Skills Level 3 Award in Education and Training — ET3A1
ET3A1 qualification route
This is a blended regulated qualification. Theory and written work are completed online, with scheduled teaching-assessment activity plus formal portfolio, assessment and quality-assurance requirements. Formal enrolment follows a successful initial assessment; there is no payment on this form.
Qualification fee
€1950
First Course Payment after an approved initial assessment: €300. Remaining balance: €1650.
The €300 first payment is specific to the approved ET3A1 route. It is only requested after a successful initial assessment, is credited in full to the €1,950 qualification fee, and does not mean the learner has been registered with VTCT Skills. The quoted qualification fee includes the registration, assessment and quality-assurance activity AuraLuxe confirms in the learner’s written plan. A learner does not have to wait for a full cohort to begin the approved online learning route.
Step 1
AuraLuxe reviews occupational qualifications, experience, teaching goal, prior learning, support needs and readiness before formal enrolment or payment.
Step 2
Core learning, written work and tutor support are completed online. A single learner can begin once their route is approved and the required first payment is verified; they do not have to wait for a cohort.
Step 3
A scheduled formative teaching session is used for developmental feedback before the final assessment. Assessment windows are confirmed in writing rather than invented on the public website.
Step 4
The learner acts on feedback, develops lesson planning and teaching evidence, and completes outstanding theory or portfolio work.
Step 5
A later scheduled assessment captures the formal teaching evidence required for the learner's approved ET3A1 assessment plan.
Step 6
Written and observed evidence is completed, assessed and, where required, corrected or resubmitted before final sign-off.
Step 7
Internal quality assurance sampling is completed in line with the centre sampling plan. External quality assurance applies if the learner or qualification is selected or the centre arranges sampling; no individual learner is promised a fixed EQA visit or date.
Step 8
Certification is claimed only after all qualification, assessment and quality-assurance requirements are complete. Payment alone never means the qualification has been achieved or registered.
